Vik Ramprakash

Founder & CEO

Vik brings a wealth of expertise as a business process consultant, with a distinctive background that spans both business management and software technology. His skill set has empowered him to devise and execute innovative business solutions, initially in the realm of geospatial technologies and subsequently in the financial sector following his MBA. Vik earned a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on remote sensing from The Ohio State University and also holds an MBA from the University of Florida.

In 2014, Vik founded Structured Monitoring Products (SMP), through which VetGuardian® was developed. VetGuardian is a remote sensing diagnostics device for veterinarians. SMP was acquired by Zomedica, Inc.

Arjun Babuji

Business Development & Operations

Arjun pioneers business development, architecting strategies that synergize cutting-edge sensor technology with human-centric solutions. His expertise facilitates market penetration, fosters innovation, and ensures RSD's offerings stand out, bridging technology with transformative business strategies. With a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida, Arjun has seamlessly transitioned to the business realm. Currently advancing his business acumen at UT Austin's McCombs School of Business with a Master of Science in Business Analytics, he's proficient at harmonizing tech advancements with business opportunities.

Kevin O’Connor

Sales Director

Kevin O’Connor, MBA has over 25 years of experience in creating value for companies in the medical arena. Mr. O’Connor has held CEO, VP and Director level sales and marketing positions in early-stage medical device organizations characterized by rapid growth and profitability such as nSpire Health, Conceptus (exit-Bayer), PrimaTemp (exit-Gedeon Richter), OBMedical (exit-Phillips), and Nvision (exit-Boston Scientific).

Specializing in early-stage growth, O'Connor possesses strong competencies in fundraising, strategic planning and corporate strategy development and implementation. O’Connor is also well versed at KOL recruitment and development, payer and reimbursement development, marketing messaging and implementation, sales training, deployment, and management of teams that can move markets. He has managed teams as large as seventy and with gross annual revenue exceeding sixty million dollars. 

O’Connor has negotiated contracts with large IDN’s such as Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Baylor, UTSW, Vanderbilt and Kaiser. Also, GPO’s, Super Groups, large and the GSA/DOD/Indian Health. Mr. O’Connor lives in Denver, loves to hike, camp, golf, and ski, and has a daughter in college.

Ryan Friedenberg

Marketing

Ryan has established himself as a versatile and effective Digital Marketing Consultant. With degrees in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Kelley School of Business,  Ryan has collaborated with clients ranging from startups and companies in medical devices and clinical trials to consumer electronics. Ryan's expertise lies in refining customer experience strategies to enhance efficiency and satisfaction, executing high-value campaigns, and implementing marketing tech solutions to boost process efficiency. Ryan led product marketing efforts for VetGuardian® prior to its acquisition. His contributions reflect a deep understanding of the nuances of digital marketing and a commitment to delivering results that help to improve the wellbeing of people’s lives.

Nick Nazak

Project Manager

Nick combines project management experience with knowledge of the engineering process to drive RSD’s innovations forward. As the Operations Manager for Structured Monitoring Products (SMP), Nick oversaw and facilitated the commercialization of the remote sensing device, VetGuardian®, until the acquisition of the company by Zomedica in September of 2023. Nick earned a degree in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University and is currently continuing education at his alma mater as a PhD student. Nick's unique experiences in the startup and research spaces allow him to tackle the challenge of medical device development from both sides.

Dr. Changzhi Li

Professor at Texas Tech University

Dr. Li is a leading expert on smart radar sensor technologies, with a focus on non-contact sensing for healthcare and industrial applications. Dr. Li holds more than 14 patents, several of which are generating revenues. He has three U.S. patents licensed as the key technology for the VetGuardian® system to read vital signs pet patients without any contact.

Dr. Li developed the iMotion radar, which was used by research institutes and industrial R&D groups at the University of Florida, University of Buffalo, Deakin University (Australia), Bombardier Transportation GmbH (Germany), Samsung Research America, University of Texas Austin, and University of Technology Sydney in Australia. Dr. Li's group was the first to investigate smart radar sensors to precisely track tumors during lung cancer radiotherapy. As a professor, Dr. Li has received numerous awards, including the ASEE Frederick Emmons Terman Award, which is given to only one Electrical and Computer Engineering professor every year in the U.S. Dr. Li is a Fellow of the lEEE and a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors (NAI).

Nimisha Savani

Healthcare Marketing and Business Development

Nimisha Savani is a strategic marketing and business development leader whose more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare sector encompasses senior roles across a diverse array of organizations, from specialist technology start-ups to premier institutions and global companies.  As a consultant, Nimisha focuses on developing and delivering growth strategies for early-stage healthcare technology and biotechnology companies.

Prior to founding her consultancy, NVision Strategies, Nimisha served as the Chief Marketing Officer for IntelliCentrics, a healthcare technology company, Vertical Chief for Healthcare at Academic Partnerships, an OPM for online higher education, and as Vice President for Communications, Marketing and Public Affairs at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She joined the medical center from ConvaTec, a global medical device company where she spent over a decade in a variety of leadership roles and served as the corporate marketing lead for the successful leveraged buyout of the business from parent company, Bristol-Myers Squibb. Her expertise includes brand positioning and management, product marketing, market research, KOL development and relations, public and investor relations, patient advocacy, digital, social media and marketing communications.

Nimisha has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Toronto and an MBA from Villanova University. She also participates in Wharton Fellows and other executive education at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Neil Euliano

R&D for Clinical Decision Support, Medical Devices, Respiratory Care

Neil Euliano exemplifies innovation and leadership in medical technology, holding pivotal roles including President of Convergent Engineering, Inc., CTO at Evren Technologies, and Senior Scientific Advisor to etectRx, Inc. and OBMedical (a Philips Company). With a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Florida, specializing in neural networks, digital signal processing, and computer engineering, Neil's career has been dedicated to advancing healthcare solutions through technology. His groundbreaking work encompasses developing medical devices such as fetal and ventilator monitors, electronic monitoring systems, and wearable PTSD treatment devices.

Neil's entrepreneurial spirit shone through as he founded Convergent Engineering in 2004, leading the firm in R&D for innovative medical devices. As CTO of Evren Technologies since 2020, he has been pivotal in creating wearable technologies for PTSD treatment. His advisory roles and extensive research have contributed significantly to medication adherence monitoring and fetal monitoring technologies, demonstrating his commitment to improving patient care and outcomes. Neil's academic contributions as a Courtesy Assistant Professor at the University of Florida's Department of Anesthesiology further underscore his dedication to education and research in the field.

Steve Lamont

Strategy & Marketing

Steve Lamont is a strategy and marketing professional with a track record of success leading growth initiatives, especially in the communications and high technology arenas. He has served as Chief Marketing Officer for major companies, as well as consulted to many leading companies. Steve played a pivotal role as a marketing and strategy advisor for VetGuardian® prior to its acquisition.

As a trusted advisor, Steve's mission is to help emerging communications and high-technology companies succeed with the best marketing and business strategy/execution, serving in roles such as board member, advisory board member, interim CMO, or consulting project leader.

Howard Greenman

Business Development

Howard has extensive experience in healthcare technology, business development, strategy, and executive leadership. Currently, the Digital Health Entrepreneur in Residence with Jumpstart (Cleveland, OH), he works with early stage health technology companies – as they develop through Series A financing.  Prior to Jumpstart, Howard was Vice President of Business Development at Akili Interactive – the first company to gain FDA approval for a video game (treating ADHD). Prior to that, he worked as the Head of New Ventures at Sema4 from 2019 to 2021.  Both Akili and Sema4 went public.

From 2009 to 2019, Howard served as cofounder and Chief Executive Officer of Provia Laboratories – the world’s largest cGMP autologous stem cell bank.  He has held several other roles in leading edge health technology ventures including Ardais – the pioneers in human tissue banking for oncology, head of strategy for Philips Healthcare’s New Ventures, and as cofounder of medXtend – a remotely guided ultrasound technology company.

Howard began his career in healthcare consulting working for KPMG Peat Marwick Healthcare Strategy, Accenture, Oracle, and while completing his MBA at the Wharton School, he worked for the Boston Consulting Group.

Ashby Green

Fractional CFO

Ashby Green joins the company as an Advisory Board member bringing nearly 30 years of accounting, finance, and leadership experience to RahmSD. As an expert strategist, Ashby has consistently delivered on preparing companies for scale, nurturing strong, healthy cultures, mitigating risk through growth and having organizations fully prepared for acquisition or exit.​ Ashby served as a financial advisor and investor to VetGuardian® prior to its acquisition.

An entrepreneur in every sense of the word, Ashby is a connector, community builder, growth catalyst and a servant leader with a huge social conscience. He has served on several committees and boards such as Leadership St. Pete, Junior Achievement, Truist Tampa Bay Advisory Board, the Board of Starting Right Now and the Board of Indago Technologies. The previous CFO of the Year (2017) jumps at every opportunity to get involved in community causes and events. He was the recipient of the FL Governor’s Business Ambassador Award in 2016 while at Kobie Marketing and is an adjunct professor at the University of Tampa teaching Entrepreneurial Finance.

Srinivasan Satagopan

Srinivasan Satagopan (Sri) has over 25 years of IT experience in Product Design, Systems / Process Automations, International Business Development, and in managing outsourced / remote IT teams. He has worked in the US and in EU, and has a banking background prior to entering IT.  He has expertise in architecting web & mobile solutions and IoT solutions for MNCs and Product companies from across the Globe, within Health Care, Pharma, Fintech, FMCG, and Automobile verticals.

He founded and ran an IT services company in the brand name Ecotech for over 22 years. Through this journey of 22 years, he made 2 Strategic acquisitions to strengthen its client base and to bring in business stability. Ecotech focused on providing Interoperability solutions using Microsoft and SAP products to Enterprise clients, and on providing product engineering services for product owners fro the US and EU regions. On making more than 95% of its business repetitive, he sold Ecotech to one of its clients from Germany, who are market leaders in manufacturing robotic arms.

David Ogles

Public Safety Strategist

David Ogles is a public safety and software development expert with over 35 years of experience in business management systems and law enforcement technology. He began his career in the Air Force before founding a computer-based company specializing in business management software. David played a pivotal role in developing eJail, a cloud-based jail management system, in response to the needs of numerous sheriffs and jail administrators.
